Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Gabriela Benitez, and I have been a dental hygienist for over eight years, with more than 13 years of experience in the dental field. I am passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health, and I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with those I care for. I take pride in creating a positive and welcoming environment, especially for patients who may feel anxious or face communication challenges.

Outside of work, I am currently pursuing my undergraduate studies with the goal of attending dental school in the future. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and being with my pets, Bruno and Bigotes.

Janel Garcia

Office Manager

Janel is our Office Manager and brings over 16 years of experience in the dental field. She began her career at a young age as a dental assistant, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and gained valuable hands-on experience. Over the years, she built a deep understanding of the dental practice from both clinical and administrative perspectives.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from SJSU, Janel transitioned into our office manager, where she has truly found her passion.  Outside of the office, Janel is also a certified personal trainer who loves staying active. She enjoys working out, participating in races, and is currently training for a full marathon later this year.

Mayra Garcia

Registered Dental Assistant

Mayra has been the office’s lead assistant with over 22 years of experience in the dental field. With her knowledge and expertise, she’s been a valuable member of the team. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills and developed a passion for making patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. Her dedication and positive, friendly demeanor make her a key part of the practice.

Fun Fact: Mayra is also a loan mortgage officer in the real estate industry & is part of a non-profit organization.

Deanna Glover

Registered Dental Hygienist

Deanna is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist with over 8 years of experience in the dental field. She has been proudly serving patients at Lopez Family Dental for the past year, where she is known for creating a relaxed, comfortable environment for every visit. Deanna is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and truly enjoys building meaningful connections along the way.

Her commitment to growth has led her to pursue advanced training to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP), allowing her to expand her ability to care for patients in diverse settings. With a gentle approach and a genuine love for what she does, Deanna strives to make every patient’s experience positive and stress-free.

Kimberly Lopez

Dental Assistant

Kimberly is a dedicated dental assistant with three years of experience, committed to helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and supporting her team with compassion and attention to detail.

Outside of the office, Kimberly is a ribbon florist and co-owns a small business with her fiancé, where they create a variety of delicious, handcrafted treats. Her creativity and passion for helping others shine through in everything she does.
